QUARANTINE GUESTS ARE WELCOME!This house is licensed and registered to accept Guests in Quarantine. We provide services such as food and wine delivery while in quarantine. The second corona test is performed in Borgarnes, only about 25 min drive from the house. Also we help our Guests with all their questions and inquiries they might have during the process. High performance disinfection process will be performed between Guests according to the Icelandic Health Department and EU legislation.

In the kitchen there is high quality white ware and equipment for cooking. The living room has large windows and amazing view. Even if you are inside it feels like you are out in the nature. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable with good beds and beautiful view. The bathroom is spacious with a long bathroom table, a large shower room and a warm towel rack. The house has all latest equipment; FREE WIFI, large Flat Screen TV, Dishwasher, Washing machine and everything between. See detailed facility and equipment below. The guest house has a double bed and a bathroom with a towel rack. Beside the guest house is an outside shower, perfect to use before entering the Hot Tub.
The design of the house is outstanding and well thought out. It has large windows to the ground, open space, Natural stone tiles, Designed lighting and one of the most advanced and greenest floor heating systems installed in houses today. The heating system is perfect and we can guarantee you a warm and cozy house in the winter time. The house is designed by one of our greatest architects, Guðfinna Thordarson, that has also designed many other modern houses in Iceland. On the large patio surrounding the house there is a nice Hot Tub that fits up to 7 people, Outdoor Shower, Barbecue grill and comfortable Outdoor seating. Perfect for making a good meal and relax in the peaceful environment.

Amacing location and lovely house
We are a family of 7 from Denmark, and we had an amacing holiday on Iceland. The lovely house was our base, from where we went on adventures on the west coast. There were several things to explore in the local area too, which made it a good variation in having both days to stay in the house and days, where we went exploring away from the house all day long. The hot tub was really nice and we used it both in sunny and rainy days - though we were lucky with the weather and only had two days out of ten, where it was raining.

Amazing place for perfect family holiday
The location of this beautiful summer house is absolutely amazing. We sat on the sofas and could just sit and enjoy the view into the nature. The kitchen is perfectly equipped so we could prepare complete dinner. Heidrun reacted promptly in every question we had and everything was perfectly described in the house booklet. Don’t miss to use the hot tub! Even when it is icecold outside, it ist just wonderful to sit there and glaze into the stars.
