Amacing location and lovely house
We are a family of 7 from Denmark, and we had an amacing holiday on Iceland. The lovely house was our base, from where we went on adventures on the west coast. There were several things to explore in the local area too, which made it a good variation in having both days to stay in the house and days, where we went exploring away from the house all day long. The hot tub was really nice and we used it both in sunny and rainy days - though we were lucky with the weather and only had two days out of ten, where it was raining.

Amazing place for perfect family holiday
The location of this beautiful summer house is absolutely amazing. We sat on the sofas and could just sit and enjoy the view into the nature. The kitchen is perfectly equipped so we could prepare complete dinner. Heidrun reacted promptly in every question we had and everything was perfectly described in the house booklet. Don’t miss to use the hot tub! Even when it is icecold outside, it ist just wonderful to sit there and glaze into the stars.

Beautiful home
One of the best Rentals we have stayed in in the past 25 years! We have stayed in many homes in different countries and within the U.S.A. This home was very clean, and was in a beautiful location. Thank you so very much for the home you provided!

Modern yet cosy Cabin
The cabin is a perfect retreat after a busy day exploring. The hot tub is lovely and the views are amazing. Everything you need in the house/kitchen. Very comfortable and clean.

Stunning house and a very responsive host
The house is right in the middle of "nowhere", just like we hoped it to be (except for some other rental homes, but they never interfered with us). The travel was well organised (you will get a document with all relevant information) and our host Heidi was very responsive and even helped with our questions regarding local activities. The glass pane is absolutely stunning although we underestimated the darkness in winter to be completely honest. 10/10 would come again! THANKS HEIDI!

Great house, great for exploring the west side of iceland
The house is surrounded by beautiful scenery. It is very spacious and accommodating. The only down side was having one indoor shower (there was a second one outside) and two toilets, we were 10 people and it was fine. The house and kitchen were well equipped with everything we needed. The hot tube was easy to operate.

I loved this house, and the hot tub, the view, everything!
This house was perfect for our family vacation; there were 6 of us, including our 3 adult children and my son’s girlfriend. It was a bit of a drive to get there, but I’m so happy this was our base. I quickly fell in love with the location. It was beautiful. There are trails and waterfalls within walking distance from the house, and a small, cute golf course where you can walk down the gravel road and get a cup of coffee. After our day trips to the beautiful golden circle, south coast, and west coast, the hot tub was an extra bonus when we got home! I also strongly recommend Hawk the Beard for a tour, too; he was great! And we loved the restaurant down the road that is on a farm. It’s delicious and delightful! The owners of the house were very attentive and kind, and were just a text away when we had questions. We used the grill and also took showers in the outdoor shower! The beds were comfy and the house was impeccable. We loved it and we were sad to leave.

Notre meilleur séjour en Islande !
La maison est splendide et très bien équipée. La communication avec Rob et Heidi est aisée et on sent qu'ils sont soucieux du bien être de leurs hôtes. Le cadre est magnifique, la maison est spacieuse, il ne manque rien pour cuisiner ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas quand on voyage à 9... Un séjour de rêve... seul regret, n'être pas resté assez longtemps !

Modern, Cozy, Romantic, Well Stocked Kitchen, Northern Lights
This house exceeded our expectations! It is beautiful, modern, clean and cozy. My husband and I stayed here in January. The kitchen is well stocked and comfortable. The open floor plan with a wood burning stove adds to the modern charm. The floor heat kept the temperature in the house very comfortable. We loved the outdoor hot tub where we were able to see the northern lights. The washer and dryer allowed us to pack more lightly. The owners were the most gracious hosts we have encountered and responded to questions very quickly. You won’t regret booking this home.

Exceeded all expectations
I wish we could have stayed longer!!! The home was clean, modern, and comfortable. The owners were easy to communicate with and very friendly. Our observation was almost everybody in Iceland is friendly. You will not be sorry booking this little home.

Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. It was absolutely perfect for our family. Our three boys enjoyed the hot tub and the hikes behind your house to see the Glanni waterfall. Your house was immaculate and so comfortable for us. It was conveniently located to Reykjavik and the Golden Circle too. We loved driving the whole Snæfellsnes peninsula and found it to be just beautiful! Thank you for your suggestions of the nearby restaurants, hiking trails as well as nearby attractions. It made it so helpful for us as we navigated around West Iceland! We were so blessed to have perfect weather and just marvel at all our photos with blue blue skies, green pastures, gorgeous Icelandic horses and vistas! Thank you for a spectacular stay in your beautiful home!

Great house and views
We stayed here for my dad's 70 birthday. When we arrived it was late, dark and heavy rain. We could see the house but kept missing the little road. Called Robert and was very helpful. The house has everything you need. The views from every window are amazing. We never had time to visit the river as had trips every day. We did go to two restaurants in Borgarnes. Heidi and Robert have been very helpful from the day we booked till the day we departed, Thank you

Phantastisches Haus. Wunderbares Ambiente. Top eingerichtet, super modern, umfassend und funktionell
Wir haben zwei Nächte in dem Haus verbracht und sind vollkommen begeistert. Ein tolles Haus, modern, funktionell und praktisch eingerichtet, gleichzeitig aber auch gemütlich. Obwohl wir die Koordinaten genau kannten, hatten wir zunächst Mühe, es zu lokalisieren, weil 50 m entfernt ein identisch aussehendes Haus steht. Einmal drin, war die Welt in Ordnung. Es fehlte an nichts. In der Umgebung konnte man wandern und die Welt erforschen. Ich würde das Haus jedem weiterempfehlen.

Beautiful house, great location, perfect for visiting Iceland!
My family and I spent a week in Iceland and absolutely loved it. The house was extremely clean, modern and had ample space to relax after a long day of sightseeing. My kids especially liked all of the "tech" hookups...iHome, Bose speakers, etc. Our hosts provided us with a great list of attractions near by...these gorgeous waterfalls are within walking distance! We truly enjoyed staying at this house and wish we could have stayed in Iceland longer. Thank you to our wonderful hosts...your home is beautiful!

Wonderful, Comfortable Stay!
Our group of 6 really enjoyed our stay at this clean. modern, and comfortable house! The owners were incredibly responsive to questions we had (mostly due to us not reading the instructions fully). It was great to be so close to the beautiful Glanni waterfall. Highly recommend!

A luxury home from home set in the most idyllic surrounding

Just back from a 4 night stay in this fabulous property(8th jan 16) highly recommend this. It really is a luxury home finished to a very high standard and has been built in an area of exceptional natural beauty. our group consisted of two families of four 4 adults 4 kids . On our arrival the owner had the heating on and hot tub filled and ready to go which was very welcoming. It's a very special location, off the beaten track, but also within driving distance to local shops and amenities. mountains surround the property and yet the front of the house has large flat area leading to the Noroura salmon river where our kids where happy just to play, be in the snow or be out the hot tub gazing at the stars. There are plenty of hiking trails all around the house The house is a good base for exploring the west of the island and is especially suited to those who want to be away from the cities and enjoy the incredible scenery and nature Iceland has to offer. We witnessed the northern lights 3 times in our short stay. Something we will never forget! The only problem is leaving ... Thank you for a wonderful stay and I hope to return very soon 🙏

The house was absolutely stunning. Heidi made sure to give us all the necessary information on Iceland, the surrounding areas, directions to the house etc. Anytime I had a question, she was very quick to respond in order to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The house is perfectly located. Close enough to Reykjavik and short drive to see Iceland's beautiful landscapes. The house is private, warm and even included a full functioning hot tub. I cannot wait to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house and surroundings matched up to our expectations and the pictures provided. The house is modern, well equipped and the owners were very good hosts, quick to respond to questions and emails. We actually spent Christmas here and would recommend going to Iceland at that time of year.
